Starting July 2014, the United States’ largest domestic carrier, Southwest Airlines, begins flights to its first international destinations, one of which is Montego Bay, Jamaica. The airline will be taking over AirTran’s current routes.
Southwest will operate daily, non-stop flights from Atlanta (ATL), Orlando (MCO), and two from the Baltimore/Washington airport (BWI).
The first Southwest 737-700 Boeing aircraft will touch down at 11:10 a.m. on July 1 originating from Baltimore.
